Tolls Owed Scam

A new scam going around is you will receive a text message. The Message states that you owe unpaid tolls and that refusal to pay them may result in you losing your drivers license. There are too many problems with this scam. First - NO TOLL Roadway companies will EVER send you a text message telling you to pay unpaid tolls. Most companies don't have your phone number. Second, they will tell you how to access the website via your iPhone. No place will provide technical information if the site is legitimate. Third, some of the places you receive this email from are not places in your local area. If you are concerned about this, visit your local Toll Road Authority or call them directly. They have warnings on their websites and will tell you via phone that thee texts are scams. DO NOT FALL FOR THEM
